JOB TITLE: SALES AND DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR – KASAMA

GRADE: I

CONTRACT: PERMANENT

Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

• Planning and monitoring distribution to ensure economical deliveries of high-quality beer to the right customer at the right time.
• Ensure volumes dispatched agree with estimates, targets and vehicle leaving on time.
• Ensure all customers are served and their complaints actioned.
• Monitor all premises sales, shortages by Driver/Salesmen and the Gate Sales Cashier.
• Liaises with appropriate employees to ensure that trucks are repaired or serviced on time.
• Attends to customer complaints and queries such as pricing and poor delivery of the products.
• Appraise routes and sales performance with the view of achieving optimum vehicle utilisation.
• Investigates losses and takes appropriate measures to ensure that they are kept to a minimum.
• Maintenance of all stocks, money, stationery, tools and equipment.
• Ensure distribution controls are adhered to.
• Responsible for vehicle appearance.
• Manage sales for the entire region.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Sales Management or any related field.
• Valid Driver’s Licence, computer literate
• Diplomatic but firm when required
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Effective communicator and absolute integrity
