The Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and interested candidates to fill the following vacancies:
POSITION: Driver (1)
JOB PURPOSE:
To drive Agency vehicles in order to facilitate the mobility of officers and materials.
KEY RESULT AREAS
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAIN DUTIES)
Driving
Drives safely and regularly vehicles allocated in order to facilitate movement of officers.
Inspection of vehicles fitness
Inspects regularly the vehicle in order to ascertain its road worthiness
Completion of Log Books
Completes timely the logbook in order to seek authorization and record movement of vehicles
Accidents Reports
Prepares timely accident reports in order to facilitate decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate
- Driving license PSV
Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience
- 2 years
Required Skills and Personal Attributes
- Able to fill forms
- Able to communicate in English
- Basic appreciation of mechanics
- Interpersonal Skills
