Project Officer is responsible for providing essential support to a project, working with other members to achieve project success. The Exact responsibilities will vary by project ,but key components of a project officers’ roles include planning, coordinating, organizing and reporting.
Essential duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for production of draft project planning assignments
- Keeps track of all phases of the project lifecycle and monitors milestone completion
- Develop and maintain project documents ,eg project brief, project initiation, project planning , change requests etc.
- Keeps track of project implementation timelines
- Supports project stakeholders in reviews analysis and documentation of systems, processes and procedures impacted by the project ,including workflows, process maps, work instruction etc.
- Coordinates interaction and communication among project stakeholders e.g. Business Operations ,IT, Marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Project Management.
- Minimum 2 year experience in project management in a micro finance/banking sector.
- High proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio.
