Our client, one of the leading insurance brokers, is seeking for 3 individuals to take up the role of Senior Broker in Lusaka, Ndola & Kitwe.

MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING  :

• Issuance of required insurance Policies
• Processing of Tax invoices timely
• Produce policy documentation in line with the requirements of the client
• Proactively handle tasks in line with client requirements and departmental procedures
• Build and maintain relationships with practice, insurance markets, and clients
• Act as the primary source of information concerning market conditions, including pricing trends, coverage grants, and other underwriting parameters and advise clients
• Work closely with Insurance companies and client teams to support client retention and new business acquisition
• Articulate the value of placement function and participate within Pricing of Services as applicable

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

• Degree /Diploma in Insurance or any business course
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in  similar role

• Knowledge of the insurance industry is a must

• Sound business acumen, resourceful and good analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead, manage and develop staff

• Proven experience of working within a targeted driven environment
• A willingness to learn and develop existing skills set
• Possess negotiation and transaction management skills
