Our Client, one of the leading insurance brokers, is looking for an individual to fill the position of Business development Manager who will be able to do the following;
MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING :
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets.
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients.
- Working on Insurance tenders
- Maintaining and improving stakeholder relationships
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Marketing or any business course
- Certificate in Insurance
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar role
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Ability to exceed set targets
- Sound business acumen, resourceful and good analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff
- Proper time management
- Valid driver’s license
- Any membership affiliation will be an added advantage
