Job Description

Business Development Manager – CHEP ZAM

CHEP is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Commercial Sales team in Lusaka, Zambia. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and prioritize customer needs to drive decision-making processes
Foster collaborative relationships with customers, leveraging data and analytics to develop innovative solutions.
Utilize CX tools and metrics to enhance customer value.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities to establish sustainable revenue streams.
Expand existing business by identifying new revenue-generating avenues.
Lead sales and marketing efforts to optimize growth strategies.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including SLAs and SOPs.
Analyze client environments to identify opportunities for growth.
Develop client proposals, including costings and pricing structures.
Stay abreast of customer behaviors, industry trends, and economic conditions to propose innovative solutions.
Identify and mitigate areas of risk to prevent stock losses.
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of service delivery to clients.
Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through a consistent service delivery to the customer.
Work closely with strategic account managers to implement account plans for strategic customers operating within the territory.
Have overall revenue and (where practical to measure) profitability responsibility for the territory & work closely with office- based support team.
