Overview
One of our clients in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Admin / Accountant to join their team. They are a company based in Zambia that distributes their products nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Performing all administrative basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients
- Preparing and submitting periodic reports to management
- Performing account and bank reconciliations
- Stock control (making and tracking orders)
- Assisting with asset audits, as necessary
- Submission of monthly and annual statutory returns
- Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor
- Debt and credit management
Requirements:
- Must have a diploma in accounts or any other similar field.
- Must be computer literate (pastel knowledge would be a plus)
- Must have atleast 4 years working experience in the same or similar role
- Should me open minded and a fast learner.
