Role overview

The role holder will help manage, develop, and maintain VSO’s Salesforce platforms. Develop and implement projects and solutions that increase efficiency and fully support VSOs strategic objectives. Helps specifying and developing functionality changes and enhancements in Salesforce for volunteer and employee lifecycle management.

Ideal Applicant Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with Salesforce Platform.com Developer 1 Certification. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years Salesforce Administrative and Development experience, with the ability to lead on the design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions. Importantly you will have extensive Salesforce experience in areas such as system configuration and customisation including APEX, SOQL, Visualforce and Lightning Component Framework, Salesforce.com Web Services APIs – Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API.

In addition, you should have experience in data migration and ETL/integration tools; confident with tools such as Workbench and Data Loader. Strong Knowledge of integrations, Single Sign-On, Security, Certificate Management, and ability to troubleshoot in a production environment.
