Maamba Collieries Limited is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic professional who will be lecturing at Maamba Collieries Limited Vocational Training Centre.

Lecturer/Instructor-Metal Fabrication (1 position)

The successful candidate will be part of the Maamba Development Trust, and will be responsible for lecturing students in metal fabrication and welding.

Responsibilities

·         Plan, prepare and conduct lectures and practical lessons for students.

·         Conduct continuous assessments and evaluation during training.

·         Any other duties as may be assigned by Management

Requirements

·         A minimum experience of Five years’ experience three (3) years industry experience and two (2) years of teaching experience.

·         Hold an advanced Certificate/Diploma in Metal Fabrication plus Teaching Methodology

·         Have two traceable references

·         Should be committed and hard working.

·         Accredited trainer and examiner of TEVETA

·         Knowledge of a welding simulator will be an added advantage

·          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to think analytically and to develop new or revised systems, procedures, and work flow
