POSITION: IT MANAGER

LOCATION: LUSAKA

CONTRACT: PERMANENT

Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

Responsible for all NB information technology strategic direction
Oversight of vendor technology products and platforms
Ensuring appropriate levels of information privacy and security oversight and controls
Oversee internal and external day to day IT operations of the company
Developing the IT governance model and a comprehensive on-going IT project management plan
Guiding and providing leadership to the IT department
Ensure the required levels of access controls, firewalls and back-up processes are in place.
Management of all IT related costs to ensure costs are optimized and within budget.
Ensure that an efficient and sustainable IT infrastructure is in place to support the business.
Ensure that network infrastructure is optimized for maximum performance.
Ensure user support service is in place and all user queries are resolved within a reasonable amount of time or set SLA.
Manage IT Infrastructure and systems
Develop and review department policies
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements;

Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or any related field.
Relevant ICT professional certifications are required.
At least 3 years working in a SAP environment at supervisory or management level.
At least 5 years working experience in an ICT support and systems implementations environment with demonstrable duties and responsibilities.
Working knowledge and hands-on experience of Microsoft products, IT network infrastructure (including SD WAN), telephony, and server hardware is required.
Strong system management skills
Good communication and project management skills.
