ASSISTANT SHOWROOM MANAGER – FURNITURE HOLDINGS

Responsibilities

  • To Assist the Showroom Manager in managing the showroom end to end
  • To ensure monthly sales & collection targets are achieved
  • To facilitate and ensure that the showroom operates within its monthly/yearly expense budgets
  • To manage & motivate  the retails sales team in the showroom
  • To comply on all SOP of the Showroom
  • To assist in ensuring all checks and control maintained
  • Negotiating prices and payments and closing sales
  • To maintain the showroom in the best presentable condition
  • To ensure stock being tallied at regular intervals
  • To assist in ensuring excellent customer service is provided consistently

Education, Skills and Qualifications.

  • Should have strong negotiation and persuasive skills
  • Should have good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Should have an analytical mind in dealing with the business
  • Should have project skills to handle projects
  • Should be good with numbers and MS office
  • Should be a team player and should be able to lead from the front as and when required
  • Should be adaptable to understand the changing needs of the customer
  • Should be able to liaise with the other departments for smooth functioning of the showroom
  • Should be passionate about sales
  • A full Grade Twelve (12)/form 5 school.
  • Bachelors Degree in the relevant field ( Masters Degree will be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Sales
  • Minimum age of twenty-five (25) years;
