ASSISTANT SHOWROOM MANAGER – FURNITURE HOLDINGS
Responsibilities
- To Assist the Showroom Manager in managing the showroom end to end
- To ensure monthly sales & collection targets are achieved
- To facilitate and ensure that the showroom operates within its monthly/yearly expense budgets
- To manage & motivate the retails sales team in the showroom
- To comply on all SOP of the Showroom
- To assist in ensuring all checks and control maintained
- Negotiating prices and payments and closing sales
- To maintain the showroom in the best presentable condition
- To ensure stock being tallied at regular intervals
- To assist in ensuring excellent customer service is provided consistently
Education, Skills and Qualifications.
- Should have strong negotiation and persuasive skills
- Should have good interpersonal & communication skills
- Should have an analytical mind in dealing with the business
- Should have project skills to handle projects
- Should be good with numbers and MS office
- Should be a team player and should be able to lead from the front as and when required
- Should be adaptable to understand the changing needs of the customer
- Should be able to liaise with the other departments for smooth functioning of the showroom
- Should be passionate about sales
- A full Grade Twelve (12)/form 5 school.
- Bachelors Degree in the relevant field ( Masters Degree will be an advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Retail Sales
- Minimum age of twenty-five (25) years;
