Finance and Administration Manager Chapter One Foundation

The Finance & Administration Manager will be responsible for maintaining Chapter One Foundation’s financial integrity, preparing all financial reports efficiently and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), regulations, Chapter One Foundation’s policies and procedures, and donor requirements. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the accounting, finance, and administration components of the programme in country, including the various petty cash funds and field office finance, accounting, and administrative activities;
• Ensuring consistency with Chapter One Foundation’s standard operating procedures, policies, and accounting principles.
• Implementing and maintaining of sound, effective and efficient financial management systems.
• Coordinating monthly requests for funds, based on budget and cash flow projections, to ensure the project has all necessary funds for operations.
• Coordinating and oversee program tendering and procurement activities in country.
• Overseeing payroll procedures for staff, administer payroll, and monitor employee time keeping.
• Developing and implementing office administrative and personnel systems;
• Producing budget projections and reports for submission to donors.
• Liaising with the Management to ensure the project needs are being met in terms of accounting, contracts, human resources, IT, and operations.
• Supervising finance and administration staff and consultants working on finance and administrative for the project.
