Human Resource Officer IABC Associates

Our client, an international freight, logistics, and transportation services provider is looking to recruit a Human Resources Officer to take full responsibility of the human resources architecture and culture.

Education, qualifications, and experience:

1. Grade 12 Certificate with credit or better in Mathematics and English.
2. University Degree in Human Resource Management.
3. Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management
4. Working knowledge of the Employment Code, Disciplinary Procedures, Health and Safety, and
Performance Management.
5. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management in an organization with not
less than 50 employees.
6. Experience in a similar industry will be an advantage.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Providing human resource management expertise to the Chief Executive Officer.
2. Leading the recruitment process fairly and transparently.
3. Coordinating all on boarding and staff orientation programs.
4. Timely rolling out of probation assessments, bi-annual and annual appraisals.
5. Coordinating all training and other performance interventions activities and logistics.
6. Responsible for all exiting and departure employees’ processes and controls.
7. Maintaining full employee records, including employee benefits statements, employment status
and all other records that support the basis human resources decisions.
8. Updating human resources policies as national legislation changes.
