STORES MANAGER – (NOVATEK LUSAKA)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

• Implementing and maintaining record keeping of all stores items.
• Ensuring goods received are identified, inspected and in agreement with purchase order.
• Ensuring all goods received are accompanied by valid supporting documents and recorded on the Novatek record keeping system as received in good order.
• Ensuring stores items issued are controlled by critically scrutinizing requisition forms, signatures and ensure it is duly authorized.
• Responsible for safeguarding all stores items in all store’s locations using CCTV and physical access control.
• Ensuring regular stock takes and physical quality checks.
• Preparing stock sheets for monthly stock takes.
• Updating stock records and bin cards with stock take numbers and investigating variances.
• Monitoring stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and inform end users and procurement to facilitate with replenishment of the same.

The Required Qualifications are:

• Full grade 12 certificate with 5 credits.
• Degree in a business-related course or its equivalent. Accounting/Internal audit experience is an added advantage.
• 5 years relevant stores experience.
