Salesmen Trucktion Spares Ltd/mos Truck Tyres Ltd

Trucktion Spares Ltd and MOS truck Tyres Ltd are in the business of importing and distributing spare parts and tires for road trucks brands and trailers. Our HQ is based in Lusaka, and we have another shop and warehouse in Chingola. Both companies are parts of a larger Group of Companies with over 2000 different spare parts sold from stock. We are hiring multiple salesmen due to the rapid growth and expansion of our activities. We have open positions in Lusaka, Chipata and the Copperbelt.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Serves customers by selling trucks and trailer parts and tires.
  2. Services existing customer accounts, obtains orders and establishes new customer accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
  3. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
  4. Submits orders by referring to price lists and product lines.
  5. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and sales reports, such as daily customer visit reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analysis.
  6. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and any other viable information.
  7. Recommends changes in product lines and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  8. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  9. Provides historical records by maintaining records on customer visits and sales.
  10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed by the company management.
  11. Represent the company’s products and services, using customer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
  12. Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
  13. Achieve sales goals by assessing current customer needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product and presentations.
  14. Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that targets are being met and company standards are being upheld.
  15. Maintain cleanliness of counter area and ensuring merchandise displays remain stocked, current and neat.
  16. Perform other related duties in our company as required.

REQUIRMENTS

  1. Diploma in sales and marketing, transport and logistics or any related field.
  2. Proven knowledge and experience in sales and marketing for truck and trailer spare parts and /or TBR tyres.
  3. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

ADITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS

  1. Team worker.
  2. Hands-on mentality, flexible, strong communication skills;
  3. Time management and problem solving skills.
  4. Affinity with technical products.
  5. Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  6. Strong computer proficiency.
