One of our clients in the jewellery manufacturing sector, a Company that is expanding into the international market while penetrating new niche segments on the local market is looking for a Business Development executive to join their team.

POSITION: Business Development Executive

RESPONSIBILTIES:

MARKETING & SALES
• Grow existing accounts by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Identify and develop relationships with potential partners and clients.
• Execute strategies to identify and capture new business opportunities in the UK and European market.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for expansion, locally and internationally.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Manage existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
• Initiate and nurture new relationships from awareness to loyalty

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
• Build and manage brand communities online and offline
• Collaborate with designer to produce and post engaging SM content
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the competitive landscape in order to develop B2B relationships

COMMUNICATION
In collaboration with external vendor, prepare and disseminate regular press releases, newsletters and other corporate communication.

DUTIES:

Prospecting potential customers: by phone, email and physically
Selling products and services to clients
Managing client portfolios
Managing the sales process
Identifying new sales and marketing channels
Following up sales
Promoting the company and its products and services
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field

Previous experience in sales and/or business development (dealing with high net worth individuals preferred.)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent knowledge of fine jewellery

Strong business acumen

Ability to develop and implement successful strategies

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

 

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers

Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills

Good knowledge of the UK, European, US and African luxury market

Proven track record in sales and business development

Ability to analyse and interpret market trends

Proficient in MS Office applications

Good understanding of the luxury goods and jewellery market
