Job Summary:

As the Operations and Sales Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our start-up meat shop/restaurant while driving sales growth. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding experience for every customer. We are looking for a results-driven individual with excellent leadership skills, a keen business acumen, and a passion for the food industry, specifically in delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of the meat shop/restaurant, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining the highest standards of quality control for meat products
  • Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority
  • Lead and inspire a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support to deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable dining experiences
  • Foster a positive and customer-centric work environment, always ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety protocols, ensuring that customers feel safe and comfortable in our establishment
  • Monitor and analyse sales and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance the customer experience
  • Collaborate with partner marketing teams to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns that resonate with our target audience and enhance customer engagement
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favourable terms and pricing to ensure the highest quality products and services for our customers
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to drive innovation and deliver an exceptional customer experience that sets us apart

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Administrator, Sales Administrator, or a similar role in the food industry, with a strong focus on customer service and creating exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong understanding of meat products, including cuts, quality, and sourcing
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and motivating employees to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric mindset
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with both customers and employees
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet targets while ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, prioritizing customer well-being and satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt to changing customer needs
  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Food production or a related field (preferred)
