Aftersales Administrator Talent House

Our client, Drake and Gorham is one of Zambia’s leading air conditioning and refrigeration, elevators and escalators company. The company hosts a one-stop-shop retail store for a wide variety of air-conditioning units to suit every budget as well as a comprehensive spares and parts stock.

About the role:

Drake and Gorham Limited seeks the services of a qualified and experienced person to fill the Position of Aftersales administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

The Employee’s core responsibilities shall be among others:

  • Assist in Managing, Overseeing and Marketing the Contracts HVAC-R, Elevator & Escalator Service & Maintenance Department in Technical coordination with Heads of the Contracts Department, in particular Senior Engineers.
  • Assist in Achieving all Sales/Turnover/Profit Targets and Goals set out by the Company.
  • Assist in Managing and Overseeing the company’s service and maintenance technician teams.
  •  Assist in Marketing and Promoting of HVAC-R Products in the Company’s Product Portfolio, in particular but only, single split installations across all product brands maintained by the company.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Assist in improving the after Sales/Service, processes and policies in support of the company’s mission.
  • Assist in overseeing and managing the workforce going to various sites, ensuring time management is in place.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared towards operational and service experience.
  • Assist in inventory and Stock Monitoring.
  • Do Client Service Reports on time.
  • Enter the Acceptance Certificate Rating for Service Team in the System.
  • Any other job assigned by the Seniors.

Requirements

  • Must be well experienced in marketing, Sales and purchasing in order to negotiate with Vendors and suppliers as well as acquiring and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays, as well as sales promotion
  • Must be well experienced with stock and inventory management and respective stock management software.
  • Must have logistical experiences with regards to importations and purchasing of goods
  • Experience in managing sales team, motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff
  • Technical knowledge in particular on Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) will be a great advantage
  • Fully acquainted with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Must have a Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Marketing, Engineering or Equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Preferred candidate must be a Zambian citizen and/or holder of a residence permit.

The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
