Main Duties
1. Actively participates in the preparation of work manuals, procedures and related documentation.
2. Inspects assets of the University to ensure that they are promptly recorded, accounted for and adequately safeguarded against risk and misappropriation.
3. Participates in the preparation of departmental annual budgets.
4. Inspects and verifies negotiable securities and accounts receivables and payables.
5. Verifies all payments and procurement of goods and services.
6. Participates in the preparation of quarterly and annual operational performance reports.
7. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
1. Grade Twelve (12) or Form five (V) School Certificate with 5 “O” Levels including Mathematics and English.
2. Level II ACCA, CIMA Management Level/ZICA Licentiate/ Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
3. Bachelor of Accountancy will be an added advantage.
4. Fully paid up ZICA member.
5. At least two (02) years of practical work experience in an audit environment will be an added advantage.
