Team Member – Digital Banking Sales United Bank for Africa (Z) Ltd

JOB DESCRIPTION – TEAM MEMBER – DIGITAL BANKING SALES

Essential Information:

A Digital Banking Sales Officer drives sales, usage, profitability and growth of e-solutions/ products and channels in the country. He/ she also increases the penetration (utilization) of UBA products / e-banking solutions in the country and Public Institutions.

Reporting Relationships:

Functionally reports to the Country Head E-Banking Sales

Administratively reports to Country Head E-Banking Sales

Supervises:

Nil

Job Duties:

  • To grow the Bank’s card / collection and payment business through recruitment of new customers and high uptake of card products to specific targets set by Management.
  • To create strategies to drive card volumes and volumes on collection and payment platforms.
  • To ensure all deployed electronic channels (ATM/POS) are profitable/ full utilization of payment and collection products deployed to customers.
  • To monitor and report performance on all card products/payment and collection products.
  • To expand the Bank’s partnership network through the development of new relationships.
  • To identify cross selling opportunities within existing relationships to expand the volume of business.
  • To drive card sales/ Bank’s collection and payment products through the network.
  • To track and report any challenges faced by customers and ensure effective escalation and complete closure of all issues.
  • To identify opportunities for new products through market surveys, research and regular interaction with customers and make recommendations to management for implementation.
  • To identify and recommend the deployment of new channels (POS/ATM) at strategic locations to drive product usage.

Job Requirements & Knowledge:

  • Interpersonal skills

Application requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a first degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering or Operational sciences with strong Information Systems component.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 credits on their Grade 12 results with Mathematics and English included.
