Pharmacy Technologist
Job Purpose
To work closely with a pharmacist to ensure the health and safety of their patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records.
- Manage and organize inventory of pharmaceuticals.
- Prepare sterile intravenous medications.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or an equivalent qualification recognized in Zambia.
- Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia (PSZ).
- Knowledge of local and international pharmacy terminology and medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of local languages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
