The key purpose for this role is to implement and uphold ABInbev safety standards. Supervise the warehouse inventory and operations through overseeing the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods so that customer service levels can be optimized and whilst achieving benchmarked productivity standards.

Key outputs and responsibilities:

Lead the operational process for receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, and staging.
Use SAP to confirm, generate, and verify and action all relevant processes.
Ensure the day-to-day processes and procedures are followed exactly as defined and the necessary corrective actions taken where there is a deviation from this policy.
Lead a shift as designated by the warehouse manager.
Assist with planning and scheduling of all warehouse resources.
Prepare of daily, weekly, monthly inventory reconciliation reports
Supervise and direct TPM program for the warehouse ensuring all elements are implemented – FEFO.
Supervise the Warehouse staff to ensure effective and efficient operation of the same, inclusive of receiving, picking and staging process.
Prepare Punch Cards information and enter in SAP.
Ensure the accuracy of all loads prepared for the staging area.
Ensure that the staging area is used effectively to stage all delivery loads. The staging area must be used 100% of the time.
Assist in management of the warehouse staff including assistance with identification of training needs, staff evaluations, documentation of accidents/incidents and spills in the Warehouse.
Ensure all GMP programs are executed to the 5’s Standards.
Conduct Performance Appraisals for Warehouse Staff
Ensure that the warehouse is properly secured at close of business.
Record in Accident Book all employment injury occurring during your shift.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager which would allow for the smooth operation of the Warehouse.

Minimum Requirements:

A Diploma in Warehousing operations, or logistics management from a recognized institution.
A minimum of five years working in a Warehouse operation in a senior capacity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational Skills
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to operate in a SAP Environment
The ability to supervise multiple job functions.
Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
