Are you a skilled and reliable driver seeking a challenging and rewarding career? Angel oak investments is currently hiring a Professional Driver to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Willing to travel for business trips outside Lusaka
Qualifications:
- Valid C or C1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, at least 3 years experience
- Knowledge of local and regional traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to operate and maintain vehicles safely.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- High school certificate or equivalent.
