1. Position Title: Technical Sales Executive

2. Job Overview:

As a Technical & Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and sales support for our wide range of solar solutions. This includes solar panels, batteries (both Gel and Lithium), inverters, and other DC products.

3. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Consultation: Engage with customers to understand their solar needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our solar products to customers and close sales deals.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of solar technology, including different types of batteries (Gel and Lithium), inverters, and solar panels.
  • Installation Oversight: Coordinate with installation teams to ensure seamless installation of solar solutions for clients.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any technical queries or issues that may arise post-installation.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product development and sales strategies.

4. Key Duties:

  • Product presentation and technical explanations to clients
  • Customer follow ups
  • Administrative liasion between management and technical team
  • system sizing /designing and load analysis
  • Installation of power backup system
  • Installation of hybrid power system supply systems
  • Programming of Hybrid Inverters /Inverter Charge and Charge Controller (MPPT And PWM)industrial wiring and faulty finding
  • Solar Geyser / Electrical Geyser
  • Solar Water Solution/Hybrid Pump/ Electrical Pumps.

5. Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical with bias to Solar. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics with bias to Solar will be an added advantage.
  • Valid membership with Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the solar energy industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and incentives related to solar energy is a plus.

6. Location: Lusaka, Zambia
