JOB PURPOSE
To Lead Electrical Engineering for Hyper scale Data Center.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
• Ensuring effective process for preventive and fault management is in place.
• Ensuring space and power allocation for Internal and External Customers is adhered to.
• Ensuring adequate Infrastructure Planning for Data Centre and Mobile Switching Centres (MSCs).
• Ensuring adequate Power planning based on Business requirement and future growth.
• Designing electrical systems for Hyperscale Data Centres meeting the Telecommunications Industry Association-942-Standards.
• Designing end to end cost effective redundancy system with concurrent maintainability.
• Ensuring adequate gap analysis and revamp planning.
• Ensuring adequate safety and method of deployment planning.
• Monitoring and delivering all key Environment Health Safety and Occupational Health Safety Assessment compliance.
• Ensuring Governance on PPE usage.
• Ensuring compliance on risk assessment, mitigation plans Emergency plans.
• Ensuring statutory compliance including fire and safety compliance.
• Ensuring the timely preparation and review of Electrical Drawings.
• Prepare Scope of work.
• Preparation of partner neutral Specifications, Scope of work and Bill of quantities.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
• Technically Qualified Graduate Engineer (Preferably Electrical).
Relevant Experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ overall experience planning in Passive Infra equipment for large technical sites/Data Center/Mobile Switching Centers measuring 2000+sqft white space.
• 2 years’ experience working in Deployment.
• 7 years’ experience working in Operations.
• 1 year experience working in Acceptance/ Auditing.
• Demonstrated experience working on Passive Infra equipment i.e. High Tension HT -Transformer, Low Tension LT Panels of 4000A plus, Diesel Generators of 1000kVA Plus, Precision Air-conditioners, DC Power Supply Systems of 2000A plus, UPSs of 100kVA plus, Electrical distribution system, Grounding, and lightening systems.
• False floors, Floor loading understanding.
• Fire Suppression and Detection system and Integrated Building Management System.
• Managing multivendor on outsource model.
