VACANCY : Trade Marketing Lead – Growth Region

LEVEL : Assistant Manager

LOCATION : Kitwe, Copperbelt

JOB PURPOSE

1. To achieve business goals and brand saliency by championing strategy and activation of events & sponsorship platforms for zonal roll out in line with the overall brand strategy.

2. Lead retail channel’s trade marketing strategy development to accomplish defined business objectives throughout product categories.

3. Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments as well as initiate execution of Brand visibility.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

1. Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution.

2. Events & Sponsorships Strategy Articulation.

3. Experiential Events Execution.

4. Sponsorship Activation.

5. Product Launch Execution.

6. Local Activations.

7. Evaluation & ROI analysis for platforms and events executed.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

  • A recognized university degree.
  • Project Management qualification will be an advantage.
  • Master’s in Business Administration would be a preferred additional qualification dependent on experience.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Ability to write project documents/briefs.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in Brand/Trade Marketing with key achievements in event activation/execution.
  • Brand management and media experience.
  • Local market knowledge and experience will be a key requirement.

Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)

  • Results orientated.
  • Achieving business success and relationship management.
  • Focus on the customer.
  • Proactive and demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team-oriented personality.
  • Willingness to travel in the course of work requirements.
