Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile the company’s general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries for financial transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Level 2 (ACCA, CIMA, CA Zambia), Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or related financial roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
