JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) is a statutory institution owned by the two Governments of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia on a 50/50 shareholding basis.
The Authority seeks to employ experienced and qualified individuals in the following positions:
JOB TITLE: STENOGRAPHER (2)
REPORTING TO: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
MAIN DUTIES:
- Taking notes from Head of Department and typing
- Updating records in the Head of Departments diary
- Arranging the Head of Departments meetings
- Filing of documents
- Attending to clients
- Managing day to day activities of the office.
- Maintaining correspondence
- Handling office documents and materials
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- Advanced Certificate
- 45/55 words per minute typing
- 80 words per minute shorthand
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
SALARY SCALE: TSG 4
