Intern – Junior Biogas Engineer Biogas Technology Zambia

Biogas Technology Zambia is aiming for further growth.

Purpose

To supervise technical and managerial aspects of the work of trained biodigesters installers (masons).

• Ensure timely implementation of the planned activities.
• Coordinate all biogas related activities in the province and act as focal person for the implementation of planned activities at the provincial level.
• Supervise works and dentify masons that require additional training and capacity building before they can be certified.

Qualifications

• Should have University degree in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• At least one year experiences in promotion and extension of new technology in general and Renewable Energy Technology.
• Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings in general and drawings of biodigesters in particular.
• Knowledge on construction and supervision and quality control construction and installing of biodigesters.
• Willing to travel to rural and difficult areas in the country on a regular basis and enjoy working frequently in rural areas.
