Accounts Clerk – Intern at LSO Contractors Limited

We are looking for an Accounts clerk Intern with a basic understanding of financial principles and terms. The Intern will participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping software, and assist with other accounting activities.

Department: Shared Services
Reports to: Management Accountant

You should possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles and have a positive attitude. You should be collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and most importantly, eager to learn.


  • Assist with book keeping, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
  • Working with QuickBooks Accounting software.
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  • Track and Report on Projects Income & Expenditure
  • Assisting with Debt Collection
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.


  • Full Grade 12 certificate with Five(5) Credits or better with Distinction in English
  • Minimum of Advanced Diploma Accounting – ACCA/ZICA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
