The Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is a Public-Private Sector Partnership promoting sustainable agriculture through Adaptive and Applied Research.
GART wishes to invite applications for the following vacant Position: Technology Dissemination Technician.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create communication assets such as brochures, content for in-person events and online platforms.
- Lead and Implement technology dissemination demonstration trials.
- Support GART teams in media content creation, external communication and graphic design.
Qualification and Experience:
- Diploma in Journalism, Communication, Agribusiness Management, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written, editorial and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with social media content creation in agricultural, environmental and climate change-related themes.
- Ability to work with social media platforms such as websites, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
- Experience in utilizing a wide range of software such as MS Office, Canva etc.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
