Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for transporting company employees and staff to and fro safely and efficiently to designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean criminal record and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport employees/staff to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
  • Provide excellent staff service, including courteous and professional interaction at all times.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and security.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle maintenance issues promptly to management.
  • Adhere to all company regulations and legal requirements regarding transportation operations.
  • willing and able to work in night shifts.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a driver or similar role.
  • Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Ability to operate various types of vehicles will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • High school certificate or a diploma will be an added advantage.
