DGM Beverages Limited is Zambia’s number one manufacturer of well-known alcoholic beverages.

Our organization is a fast paced, exciting, and performance-oriented firm and we are seeking to fill the position of Receptionist. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, organized and collaborative person.

The ideal candidate must have the following.

Education

  • Diploma in Public Relations or Marketing
  • Customer care training
  • Computer literacy

Skills and attributes

  • Service oriented
  • Good organizational abilities
  • High personal standards and goal oriented
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • A sense of ownership of the role

The successful; candidate will perform duties outlined below


  • Greet people entering the building in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Answer any questions, providing directions, and informing the staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
  • Must be knowledgeable of all DGM Beverages Limited products and services
  • Deliver excellent customer service for all interactions (visit/call)
  • Handle and provide support for basic customer queries and requests and close any complaints
  • Accept deliveries, mails, invoices organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner
    while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup
  • Manage safety and security of property and documents in the reception area, and ensure there is no congestion at reception
  • Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions
  • Take messages and deliver them to the intended persons in a timely manner
  • Ensure internal telephone directory is maintained, and updated regularly
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Handle filing and data entry as requested
  • Maintain register of all customer complaints, requests and queries handled (submit Issues tracker monthly)

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least one year as a receptionist in a reputable company
