Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is a nationally registered NGO working with development projects within the field of education, health, agriculture and other poverty alleviation programmes. Projects are carried out in all the provinces of Zambia reaching over 1 million people. Key funding partners include the Government of Zambia, national and international development organisations (USAID, CDC, EU, Global Fund, WFP and Others) as well as private sector organisations.
DAPP-DNS MKUSHI COLLGE OF EDUCATION seeks persons to serve as:
Core Group Teacher – 2 positions
Lecturer in Entrepreneurship Information, Communication and Technology – 1 position
The purpose of the job is to guide the students in implementation of project activities in academic and production sectors by acting as a role model to achieve the intended goal of training student-teachers for rural primary schools.
School certificate grade 12
Diploma in Primary School Teaching
Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia and having a valid practising certificate
Pedagogy exposure is an added advantage
Conversant with the concept of Core group Teaching
Skilled and passion about leadership, planning, organization and co-ordination in peer teaching.
Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Information, Communication and Technology
To work collaboratively as part of academic and administrative colleagues, facilitate teaching and learning in entrepreneurship and Information, communication and technology to contribute to curriculum development and relate to DNS programmes in order to achieve through research and knowledge in the relevant discipline.
Academic qualification of Bachelor Degree in the relevant discipline
Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia and having a valid practicing license
Teaching experience of a minimum of two years
Be able to give advice and guidance to student teachers in the relevant field
Provide leadership, management and administration in academic activities
Undertake such duties as may be reasonably be requested by the principle and others in leadership
Computer literacy in maintenance of college computers and local area network
Installation and maintenance of software(s)
