Maintenance Manager – Technician Quality Catering Equipment

Our maintenance technician is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of an organization’s facilities internally and externally. Maintenance technician ensure that their co-workers have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to the allotted budget.

Fundamental electrical knowledge for catering equipment is key.

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on equipment and assets, assists with the installation of equipment and manages the upkeep of tools, equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

Fundamental electrical knowledge and practical experience in fixing ovens, dishwashers, microwaves and refrigeration

Handling assigned work orders and PMs (inspections, oil changes, meter readings, etc.)
Performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks
Dealing with incoming work requests
Communicating existing and potential issues with your supervisors;
Using paper records to log maintenance work
Cleaning and maintaining the tools you work with
Abiding by different safety measures and policies
Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing all fleet vehicles
Performing preventive maintenance on all fleet vehicles
General maintenance of their transit facility (repair shop and all stored equipment like pumps and vehicle lifts) and its surroundings
Attending to electrical breakdowns, following up and achieving timely execution
Filling in job cards effectively and following procedure
Presentable to clients and comminuting effectively
Representing the company in a good light
