Overview: Our client in the retail industry is looking for a stores manager that can deliver individual stores sales growth and profitability targets, through ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything we do, that all selling, promotional and operational initiatives and processes are effectively implemented and executed in a sustainable way, and by identifying, developing and coaching, and retaining a highly competent and energized store team, who take ownership and accountability for their business. The ideal candidate must have high integrity standards.

  • Manage strategy, plan and financials of the entire store together with management team.
  • Must perform Store finance and admin role (if no SAM) to ensure smooth running of the cash office.
  • Drive trading and density of the store through department managers and coordinators.
  • Drive shop keeping disciplines and ensure to score 85% and above Audit scores.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Internal

  • Commercial qualification e.g. Retail Business Management Diploma or relevant degree
  • Full Grade 12
  • The ability and flexibility to work different shifts.
  • Consistent IPM 3/4
  • No final written warning on record.
  • Computer Literacy Skills- able to use MS Word and Excel

External

  • Commercial qualification e.g. Retail Business Management Diploma or relevant degree
  • Full Grade 12
  • Three references of conduct (work and personal)
  • Previous experience in the Retail or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry, would be advantageous.
  • Computer Literacy Skills- able to use MS Word and Excel
  • Relevant experience competent and successful in-service industry.
