Description
- Oversee kiln operations during shift to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Ensure all equipment are used within prescribed limits and in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Oversee the effective operation of the kilns and coal mill to ensure the kiln is maintained in proper working condition.
- Supervise CCR operators in monitoring the plant process lines to avoid downtime and to ensure uninterrupted operations in the kiln and coal mill.
- Monitor equipment integrity, identify possible machine/equipment’s deviations and notify appropriate personnel to carry out troubleshooting, repairs or replacement.
- Report critical problems to the Section Head, Kilns and coal mill for immediate action.
- Coordinate liaison with shift teams to ensure clinker and cement production targets are achieved.
- Supervise the execution of housekeeping activities in the kilns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience
