National Milling Corporation Limited, is a reputable multinational milling company specialised in the manufacturing of flour, mealie meal, stock feeds products and also trades in rice and other products wishes to engage a flexible and energetic person to fill the following vacant position:
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT: (LUSAKA)
Responsible for providing financial information and reports to management for decision making purposes as well as ensure inventory and fixed assets are safeguarded. Provide financial management accounts by making appropriate adjustments for accruals and prepayments. Prepare financial statement and P&L cash flow accounts, variance analysis and commentaries. Monitor performance against budget ensuring to prepare reports on a monthly basis. Provide financial analysis and forecasting. Ensure proper maintenance of an accurate asset register
Evaluate the company’s performance using key data ensuring timely and accurate financial reports for the business that is with up to date financial information. Analyse and report the Corporation’s various sales depot profit margins as well as assist in month/year end stock take management. Ensure all cost of sales and other expenses are accurately captured in the system on a timely basis. Reconcile monthly physical books, stocks, general ledgers and investigate variances as per standard operating procedures.
Interested candidates should have full ACCA, CIMA, ZICA or its equivalent with a minimum of about 3-5 years in finance/accounting with at least 3 years within the management accounting function. Critical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills, great attention to detail including strong presentation skills Attractive salary commensurate with experience and salary history will apply.
