Looking for an experienced Clinical Officer to perform general medical duties such as diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury, ordering and interpreting medical tests, prescribing medication, performing routine medical procedures and checkups, referring patients to other practitioners and managing the department.
- Provide patient centered, compassionate, competent quality care
- Adhere to code of conduct, practice safe, ethical, evidence-based patient care at all times
- Carry out First Aid and CPR, call emergency
- Perform phlebotomy for laboratory samples
- Maintain hygienic and safe work environment in accordance with healthcare standards and all associated policies and procedures.
- Use and maintain correct PPE and maintain proper hand washing and sanitary procedures as per guidelines
- Communicate, guide, advice patients in a professional manner in health care
- Perform other duties as defined by management
Experience
- Registered HPCZ with valid full practicing license
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in clinical/hospital setting or similar
