We are looking for experienced Sales Team Leads with a strong sales and channel development background to join our growing Micro Finance company.
JOB DETAILS:
The Sales Team Lead will manage a sales team of Direct Sales agents in Onboarding customers/users in an assigned territory. The main responsibilities of the role are to increase Revenue and customer base while maintaining customer service and long-lasting customer relationships. The sales team lead will be responsible for promoting the Company brand and ensuring all company messages are accurately communicated to customers.
DUTIES
- Train, manage and motivate direct sales agents in assigned territory.
- Communicate and monitor sales objectives to the team.
- Motivate team members and assess sales performance.
- Communicate concerns and policies among management and team members.
- Actively onboard new customers and ensure customer retention.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
- Prepare sales and activity reports for management.
- Recommend new business prospects and potential new markets for growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in any related field or a Grade 12 Certificate with Experience in Sales and Marketing – fieldwork
- Experience in managing a team of DSAs
- Experience in field sales and store activation
- Able to work independently while being a team player
- Ability to recruit potential agents
- Strong Geographical Knowledge of the market
- Proficient in computer use.
