We are looking for a Facility Coordinator/ Assistant Work-Place Lead to join our team.

LOCATION: SCB HEAD OFFICE LUSAKA
DEPARTMENT: FACILITIES
DIRECT REPORT – GPFI WORK PLACE LEAD, SCB ZAMBIA

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 YEARS

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: CONTRACT
Role Objective: To achieve 100% planned maintenance of all assets and equipment and provide adequate support to clients in line with set targets and objectives.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Ensure the facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards

·         Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.

·         Monitor continuous increase in energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

·         Ensure continuous review & Implementation of Business Continuity plan and Emergency preparedness plan.

·         Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.

·         Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.

·         Ensure that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any lapses

·         Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations

·         Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants as required.

·         Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases.

·         Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff.

·         Oversee all sub-contracts and service providers including services outside the normal scope.

·         Compliance to FM/PPM/OPS standard at the site

·         100% performance during site audit

·         100% Customer service performance

·         0% complaints

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Able to solve problem with little or no supervision.

·         Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills

Education/Professional Requirements

·         Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities, Property, Business, or related field desirable

·         Membership of Professional bodies (Engineering and Facilities Management) preferable

·         Previous experience working in a diverse environment with complex systems

·         Ability to manage and coordinate Team Members.

·         Ability to conduct and review Risk Assessments

·         Operational knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems

·         Ability to multitask and priorities workload
