Vacancy – Sales Administrator – Interslab Zambia

A position has become available at the Zambia branch, based in Lusaka. The company seeks to employ a Sales Administrator to assist the Branch Manager in the daily functions of the branch.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Client register update
  • Credit requests
  • Filing
  • Invoicing and sales
  • Petty cash control and recons
  • Sending reservation letters to clients for stock reserved
  • Pre-invoices to be captured and forwarded to Accounts Department
  • Preparation of loading list for deliveries and collections
  • Email and fax price lists
  • Re-print stock sheets
  • Printing, copying and emailing (when required)
  • Stock count and control
  • Request slab number (warehouse) for invoicing
  • Client liaison
  • Consignment stock emailing, invoicing, and updating
  • Assisting with the switchboard when necessary
  • Taking of photos and e-mailing or WhatsApp to relevant persons/clients
  • Assisting branches with invoicing for customers that are collecting direct from Head Office
  • Preparations/forwarding of clearing instructions for cross-border customers

Job specifications and information:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Own transport is an advantage
  • Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Very organised, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative aspects of the job
  • Well-presented
