Vacancy – Sales Administrator – Interslab Zambia
A position has become available at the Zambia branch, based in Lusaka. The company seeks to employ a Sales Administrator to assist the Branch Manager in the daily functions of the branch.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Client register update
- Credit requests
- Filing
- Invoicing and sales
- Petty cash control and recons
- Sending reservation letters to clients for stock reserved
- Pre-invoices to be captured and forwarded to Accounts Department
- Preparation of loading list for deliveries and collections
- Email and fax price lists
- Re-print stock sheets
- Printing, copying and emailing (when required)
- Stock count and control
- Request slab number (warehouse) for invoicing
- Client liaison
- Consignment stock emailing, invoicing, and updating
- Assisting with the switchboard when necessary
- Taking of photos and e-mailing or WhatsApp to relevant persons/clients
- Assisting branches with invoicing for customers that are collecting direct from Head Office
- Preparations/forwarding of clearing instructions for cross-border customers
Job specifications and information:
- Willingness to learn
- Must have attention to detail
- Own transport is an advantage
- Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Very organised, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative aspects of the job
- Well-presented
