As a Customer Care and Collections Support Officer, you will serve as the product guru and ambassador, providing excellent customer care to walk-in clients, explaining the features and benefits of our product, and supporting the sales team in closing sales. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in assisting the sales team with collections efforts. Your ability to build relationships, effectively communicate product information, and support sales and collections processes will be key to our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in clients interested in our product and services.
  • Provide in-depth product information and explain the features, benefits, and application process to potential clients.
  • Actively engage with clients, identify their financial needs, and present suitable solutions.
  • Support the sales team in closing sales by answering client questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating the application process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and meet sales targets.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions, applications, and sales activities.
  • Aid the sales team in collections efforts by following up with clients, addressing payment-related concerns, and ensuring adherence to collections policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing customer support and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market competition, and product knowledge to effectively represent our products and services.
  • Act as a product ambassador, attending relevant industry events and promoting the benefits of our products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in customer care, sales, or a related role, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial products, preferably secured asset finance or credit card facilities.
  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer care and delivering sales results.
