Scaw Limited is a Copperbelt-based manufacturing Company specialized in the manufacturing of grinding media, castings products and industrial oxygen and acetylene, that was established in 1960.
The Company seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and result oriented individual to fill up the following position on a two-year contract renewable depending on individual performance;
1. REGISTERED NURSE (1)
Job Purpose
To supervise First Aiders at the clinic and identification of potential health hazards in the plant
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To attend to emergencies at the clinic and in the plant
- To assist medical officers (Doctors) in examining patients/ casualties
- To treat employees on minor cases/sickness and to dispense non-prescribed and prescribed medicines
- To conduct hospital/home visits to employees admitted in hospitals/discharged from hospital
- Coordinate ambulatory services and coordinate employee/patients/casualties admissions at the hospitals
- Train First Aiders and report employee health/medical status on daily basis
- Provide advice to management on health issues and submit monthly, quarter and annual employee medical/health status

Qualifications
- Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with Five (05) Credits better
- Diploma in General Nursing
- Certificate in First Aid Management
- Affiliated with General Nursing Council of Zambia
Work Experience
- Two (2) years’ work experience in a busy hospital
