Diesel Technician Fidelity Labour Consultants Limited

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding on vehicles
  • Attending to breakdowns as and when required
  • Planning/Coordinating servicing and repairs
  • Managing of stock and stock take
  • Good communication skills
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure that the safety SOP is adhered to when a breakdown is attended, and client vehicles have minimum of risk of an accident.
  • Attend to COF defects on trucks.
  • Attending to breakdowns, running repairs trailers and standby.
  • Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
  • Correctly analyse faults and request quotes timeously.
  • Apply SHEQ rules and regulations as prescribed by company policy and procedures.
  • Administrating and regular reporting to management regarding breakdowns, repairs, and services of trailers.
  • Ensure job cards is completed as per company policy and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in automotive mechanics
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repairs of trucks
  • Strong electrical/electronic experience will be advantage
  • Class C1 driver’s license will be advantage
