Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding on vehicles
- Attending to breakdowns as and when required
- Planning/Coordinating servicing and repairs
- Managing of stock and stock take
- Good communication skills
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
- Ensure that the safety SOP is adhered to when a breakdown is attended, and client vehicles have minimum of risk of an accident.
- Attend to COF defects on trucks.
- Attending to breakdowns, running repairs trailers and standby.
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Correctly analyse faults and request quotes timeously.
- Apply SHEQ rules and regulations as prescribed by company policy and procedures.
- Administrating and regular reporting to management regarding breakdowns, repairs, and services of trailers.
- Ensure job cards is completed as per company policy and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in automotive mechanics
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repairs of trucks
- Strong electrical/electronic experience will be advantage
- Class C1 driver’s license will be advantage
