Assurance Officer FSG Zambia Ltd

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide effective and efficient Funeral Assurance services to customers.

2. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Ensure proper upkeep of insurance records;
Collect premium from customers, issue receipts and reconcile daily collections;
Issue policies to customers;
Promote sale of funeral policies;
Ensure collection and maintenance of KYC records;
Upkeep of Funeral Insurance Management System;
Ensure that money received  is handed over to Accounts in good time on a daily basis;
Communicate effectively with reporting line managers; and
Keep the business place clean and tidy at all times.

3. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

O level or equivalent
Certificate in Insurance or any related field.
1-year experience working in an insurance or related field.

4. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Effective communication at all levels;
Ability to facilitate customer needs;
Good Communication skills;
Pro-active and Innovative; and
Computer knowledge.
