1. JOB TITLE: Receptionist (Operations)
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Branch Supervisor
2. PURPOSE OF THE
To provide effective and efficient funeral services at operational level to customers.
3. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Receive calls and correspondence from both external & internal customers;
- Invoicing, receipting, checking and collection reconciliation;
- Assist in preparing funeral schedule;
- Counting Stock, Wreaths, Coffins and Caskets;
- Assist in the movement of corpses in and around the country;
- Attend and resolve customer queries
- Assist in maintenance of proper records;
- Interpret operational policies accurately; and
- Assist in ensuring progressive fleet maintenance and good record keeping.
4. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in any Business related program a Degree is an added advantage;
- 2 years’ experience as front counter.
5. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Effective communication at all levels;
- Team player;
- Pro-active and Innovative;
- Computer literate; and
- Ability to make good business decisions.
