Job Purpose
The Finance & Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for defining the Airline’s overall financial plans, policies and procedures; Establishes major policies and procedures governing financial issues. Lead and direct an analyst in Business Development analysis, new door investment modeling & performance tracking, competitor analysis . Manage the P&L of all brands in the portfolio with respect to estimate and performance during the year inclusive of profit protection and resource allocation. Provide strategic financial advice to the Strategic Management Team and Leadership Board to support the Airline’s annual business planning and budget setting and for budget management and monitoring.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic, insightful analysis of industry financial results
• Track P&A budgets and spends in support of weekly strategic check ins with the Theatrical Marketing group meeting cash management and reporting requires for the Finance and Accounting group.
• Support the coordination and development of the portfolio of Brands Strategies in partnership with the Brands’ Leadership team
• Ensure that all financial systems and processes operate in compliance with financial policy and statute and any necessary amendments are designed and implemented promptly in response to framework changes or to any identified exceptions to governance and control standards.
• Lead the continuous development and improvement of financial systems, frameworks and processes to match best practice and ensure data integrity, maintain financial control and allow the effective capture and analysis of financial information to meet user needs.
• Lead and champion the development of employee and manager self-service with regard to the Finance system with supporting finance policies and procedure, ensuring clear division of responsibilities between finance and other managers.
• Take a lead role in the preparation and submission of applications for grant and other funding, ensuring that appropriate financial records are maintained and leading on the monitoring and preparation of reports to the funding organisation.
• Manage and lead sales forecasting and transfer analysis for specific regions and drive estimating accuracy
• Coordinates development of Strategic and Business plan
• Continually monitor the performance of the airline visa-vis the economic and business environment by preparing competitive analysis.
• Plan and ensure availability of best quality services, supplies and materials required for users in the company in the shortest time possible and with lowest cost
• Maintain clear Procurement vision, goals, objectives, strategies, policies, procedures and action plans commensurate with the strategies of the Company.
• Manage end-to-end regional pipeline, including financial analysis and investment recommendation for all real estate activities and timely delivery of real estate decisions.
