JOB OVERVIEW

The HR Manager plays a crucial role in the Human Resources department, overseeing various HR functions and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role involves supervising HR staff, managing HR operations, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Employee Relations and Engagement

Oversee employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding

Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

Ensure effective onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation, training, and paperwork completion.

3. Performance Management

Administer performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans.

Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters and coaching for employee development.

4. Training and Development

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

5. HR Policy and Compliance

Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Review and update HR policies and procedures as needed.

6. Benefits and Compensation

Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Assist in salary surveys and participate in the development of compensation structures.

7. HR Reporting and Analytics

Generate HR reports and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Analyze trends and recommend improvements to HR programs and processes.

8. Employee Records and Documentation

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and HR databases.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

Education, Professional & Work Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Years of Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR roles, with at least 1 years in a manager capacity.
