Sales Manager – On Trade and Off Trade Liquor Sales Bounty Shop Zambia

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our on trade and off trade liquor sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share. The Sales Manager will manage a team of sales representatives, build strong relationships with key clients, and drive sales performance in both on trade (bars, restaurants, hotels) and off trade (retailers, distributors) channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for on trade and off trade channels to achieve sales targets and objectives.

2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate partnerships to expand market presence.

4. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use market insights to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

5. Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Monitor and report on sales performance against targets.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.

7. Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the liquor industry, with a track record of success in both on trade and off trade sales.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
